Soul Beach New Year Party 2022 – Jebal Ali – Dubai
I have been to JA Soul Beach Club in Jebal Ali before, but it was on a normal weekend. While the place was nice to chill in with your soul mate, as it was quite with a nice beach and chill out pool. It was not really happening if you are looking for that.
I had the opportunity to attend the new year party at Soul Beach Jebal Ali, and I was surprised by how happening it was. Now if techno is your type of music, you would have enjoyed it just like I did, but if it’s not your type of music then you might not have the best time. They had a nice line up of DJs cts Âme Live from Innervisions and Reznik from world-famous label Keinemusik next to few local ones such as DJs Clint Maximum, Hoolz, Xavi Emparan, Sug and Justbradj. To be honest, it seemed the Ibiza Global Radio has done a good job putting the music together, although it might not be everyone cup of tea. I guess if you want a happening party when visiting JA Soul Beach, you will need to go on days where Ibiza Globla Radio is throwing a party in there, otherwise it is mostly a quite chilling spot. Laying down at the beach beds while listening to the music and watching the sea or the sky was an amazing way to relax between sets. I was surprised we were able to secure one of these for no extra cost. It was not much of a different setup than what people paid for the VIP one except it was at the beach side rather than at the pool side and no drinks or food was included. It was a much better deal in my opinion as the food and drinks were not too expensive and how much would you drink or eat to cover the 1800aed VIP ticket cost. Not to mention the beach beds had the best view of the fireworks.
The fireworks were surprisingly impressive especially knowing it was probably funded by the beach club or the JA resort itself and not covered by the city. We were able to watch couple of other city fireworks from the venue including the Dubai eye fireworks and another JA Resort firework that took place at the resort side. It was one of the best fireworks shows in town to be honest, which was quite a plus. Check the video for more view of the firework.
As the venue is in Jebal Ali and not close to the crowded part of the city, this had saved us from spending hours in the traffic before and after the party. This was a big plus and one of the big reasons I have decided to go there, as traffic get ridiculously bad in the city on New Year Eve and it can be very frustrating at a time. Here we got to escape it all.
If you have Privilee, then you had the best offer for NYE party, as they were giving a way two free tickets for members worth near 400aed each. It’s worth taking the offer if you have it. I don’t recognize the VIP food package was worth it as nothing special about their seating, drinks were not too special and food was completely precooked rather than being freshly cooked. Not worth 1800aed for sure.
I was a bit disappointed that they did not serve cocktails during the NYE part, where they serve pretty good ones on normal days. Food was another disappointment as on they have freshly prepared food on normal days, they were only heating up a pre-made food during the NYE party which was not great.
