My boyfriend and I had just arrived in Aqah, craving something hearty to satisfy our hunger. We chanced upon this gem, tucked away in the heart of Fujairah, and what a find it turned out to be!

The quality of the ingredients and the meticulous preparation truly set this place apart. You would go there for the food. In our two nights stay, we visited it twice. It was so good, that we could not leave without eating there again. We highly recommend the Kebab and the Lemon Tikka sandwiches’ or plate. While we ordered about 6 different variety of sandwiches’ to share and all were great, those two had stood out on both visits. We took some extra sandwiches’ on our way back too, so they are great for the road trip back to airport or Dubai.

What impressed us even more was the genuine warmth of the staff. Despite being newcomers, we were welcomed with hospitality that transcended cultural boundaries. The servers were attentive and guided us through the menu with genuine enthusiasm, adding a personal touch to our dining experience. The only slight room for improvement would be in the speed of service, as it took a tad longer than expected to receive our order. It was worth the wait, as they make food fresh to order and it was quite busy when visited.

While the overall setting is lovely, a touch more ambient lighting could enhance the dining experience further. The attention to cleanliness and detail further heightened our overall satisfaction. The restaurant is not fancy like many of the restaurants at the resorts next door, but it’s quite elegant and have a great cozy atmosphere.

Considering the high quality of the food, the prices are reasonable, making it a worthwhile investment in a memorable culinary experience. You can save quite a bit by eating at Kabab al Bastakiah in comparison to eating at one of the resort restaurants.

Conveniently located in the heart of Fujairah, Kabab al Bastakiah is easily accessible. Whether you’re a local or a traveler, finding this hidden gem is a breeze, adding to the overall positive impression of the restaurant. It is a walkable distance from Rotana Fujairah, Le Meridien Fujairah and Intercontinental Fujairah. We were able to walk there in less than 10 minutes from the Intercontinental where we were staying.

The restaurant still don’t have a website, but Google Review seems to provide quite a bit of info about it. Clearer online menus and additional details about the restaurant would be beneficial.
